As this week promises warmer weather through the weekend, I'm reminded of an invocation I learned some 30 years ago...

Immortality be upon this One
He is a sharer in the Sun's everlasting Light
This world will hold him forever

Invoking the Power

Ancient One of the forest deep
Lord of beast & Sun
Here when the world is lost in sleep
Now that the day is done
I call You in the ancient way
Here in my Circle round
Asking that You hear me pray
And send Your Sun Force down

Here, in this Circle of the Moon
I call the Maiden, Mother, & Crone
Rounded & complete of Purpose
In the fullness of Your presence
Yours is Magick, Yours is Power
Make me One with Your essence

Savior, King & Wisest Sage
Ancient One Who knows no age
Lord of Light & shadow places
You are seen with many faces
I call You in the ancient way
Here in my circle round
Asking that You hear me pray
And send your Power down
