Today's Animal Spirit...

So...I asked the Animal Spirits to give me a general reading about my book that's going to be published, "Awakening the Witch."  I couldn't be happier with their response.
Hummingbird's message is quite simply that of absolute joy.  Hummingbird medicine shows us how to accomplish what seems impossible and how to bring the miracle of joy back into our lives. Their gentle spirits remind us to live in vivid color and to do so dynamically.  Hummingbird tells us to find the happiness in all things.

Today's Message...

You're being asked to reexamine your intentions today.  What is the real reason you want to reach your goal?  Are you being driven by your true destiny, or lured by fantasy and desires of the ego?  It's time to be very clear about your direction and know that there's no easier way or shortcut.
It appears as though you are limiting and thwarting the outcome of your desires by over-analyzing and thinking too much.  It's important to allow Spirit to decide "how" a situation will resolve.  We may think that there are only specific ways to arrive at our desired outcome, but there are unimaginable permutations contained within the infinite universe.  Remember the old saying, "Let go, let God?"  Well, that's exactly what's being said in this message.  Set your sights on your highest good, and allow the flow of universal energies to take you where you need to be.

Today's Animal Spirit...

Today appears to be a day of scrambling.  I think of the poor office personnel running about trying to tie up loose ends for the weekend, so they can start fresh on Monday.  Or the poor mother trying to prepare for the weekend trip to see the grandparents...laundry, laundry, laundry.  lol  Well, the animal spirits have some wisdom to share that may very well prove valuable to you today.
Monkey came to me this morning chattering about adaptability, cleverness and dexterity.  I told him I totally appreciated the Master Multitasker that he is.

The medicine that monkey offers is quick anticipation as you move through the jungle.  Somehow, he always knows which branch or vine to grab hold of as he flies swiftly through the trees covering great distances within minutes.  It's pretty amazing, huh?
No matter where you find yourself today, you have to be able to adjust to your circumstances, take it all in, and come up with creative solutions or ideas and act on them.  Whatever you do, you can't get rigid once you've chosen a direction.  New factors are going to be constantly coming into play, so you will need to adjust your course of action again.  Sounds kind of tough, I know.  Don't get discouraged.  We all have an innate ability to move through life seamlessly, even if we're not aware of it.
Once your day is done, you will be able to look back and see that every action and reaction was timely and purposeful.
In addition, Monkey is said to be able to converse with nature spirits, faeries and magickal folk.  The message here is to communicate wisely.  Ask lots of questions.  New information may give you the slight change in your course of action necessary to bring you to the perfect choices.

Reading today...

I'll be doing readings at one of our local new age shops today from 3p-8p.  I'm really looking forward to it.  I took some time off for a little breather, but I think it's time again.  It's funny how much healing can take place on a personal level when you use your gifts to heal others.

Today's reading...

The Wheel keeps on turning, and you have no choice but to move with it. The Wheel of Fortune indicates that your psyche, or your spirit, just won't rest. It keeps hashing and rehashing things you thought were settled. The Wheel of Fortune never ceases. If you feel like you want to get off life's Merry Go Round, there is only one way to do it ~ find sanctuary at the center, the place from which all the motion emanates. There is no way to stay on top forever~ your challenge is to learn to accept the cycles of life, including all its ups and downs.



Discontentment and boredom have closed your eyes. Curiosity and interest can awaken your sight to new possibilities. The Four of Cups points to a transitory stagnation. Your will has dissipated for a moment; your mind is distracted from its true goal. A hazy sense of disappointment and melancholy may be stifling your sense of self, and replacing it with emptiness and detachment. Hello, everyone. Thank you for taking the time to check out my new blog. I really wanted a place to be able to express my spiritual side, along with passing on some of the knowledge I've gained over my 20 years in the Craft.

Here's a reading for all of you, using the Angel Cards. I have always loved working with angels. Their power is near limitless. Most accomplished witches know that the majority of rituals, spells & otherwise magickal moments need to be synchronized with the planetary influences. However, since angels are celestial in their own right, they are capable of superceding or bypassing any ill planetary alignments.

Anyway...I have Doreen Virtue's Messages from the Angels, Healing with the Angels & Healing with the Faeries decks & frequently conduct readings with all three. It's amazing how accurate they are & the amount of positive influence they can have on your state of mind.
