SUPERMOON

In general, supermoons occur every 13 months. Tonight's SuperMoon will be the 2d in a trio of supermoons this summer, with one having happened on 7/12 and the next one due to appear on 9/9. To have 3 in such close proximity is very rare, and it's not expected to happen again until 2034.
It's time to be proactive...not reactive. Focus on You. Empower yourself to be most effective. You have no control over what other people say, think or do. Your point of power lies in what you think and do. Own your power. Your power is in the present in this moment.

LITHA

We are children of the sun, the daystar that makes all life possible as we travel in the icy darkness of frozen space. It is only fitting that we celebrate this turning point of our planet, even if we have a more sophisticated knowledge of the Earth, sun, moon, and planets than did our ancestors. Deep within our bodies the ancient memories are still alive.

WORLD PRIDE!

Decided to do a reading for Pride with my animal cards and got a very interesting message I wanted to share...

"Eagle soars high enough to see the grand panorama of life,and yet has vision keen enough to spot a fish a mile away. How's your vision? Are you seeing the big picture or have you gotten so lost in the trees you've forgotten the forest. Eagle is asking you to take a step back so you can once again see the whole."

What this meant to me is that we may not share the same blood, but we are all held to this Earth by the same gravity and the Air that keeps us alive. In all of our distinct colours and individual cultures, we are united under the same light of the Sun.

There is a beautiful correlation between the seasonal cycle of nature and the path of the soul through the eternal cycle of life, incarnation after incarnation. The Goddess is representative of the ever-changing, undying spirit, whereas the God can be seen as more of a representation of ourselves as we progress through our lives. The dynamic interplay between the darkness and light through the seasons give us a glimpse into much deeper truths about how the universe works and our part in it.

MAGICK

Magick is not meant to be a quick fix. It is intended to help us on our path...to eliminate those obstacles that would normally appear insurmountable and to provide us with opportunities that we may not normally have.

GODDESS FIRST

Without the Moon we cannot make use of the Universal Forces beyond her. The Moon absorbs, condenses, and channels all of these forces, which are then carried to Earth, upon the Lunar Light Spectrum...moonbeams.

The pure essence of the power used in Moon magick originates out among the stars. The Sun draws in the stellar energies and transmits them into our Solar System. The Planets within our System absorb this energy which then merges with their own vibrations or energies. The Planets, in turn, then emanate a composite energy within our Solar System. Each Planet's energy or vibratory pattern is unique, and influences other planetary bodies and forces, within each planet’s sphere of influence.

This is the basis of Astrology and Planetary correspondences in magick. This is how and why magick works.
